Arianna had a good week last week at therapy. On Friday at speech they had her play on the computer. She had to push a button to make the different animals go across the screen, she pushed it every time she was asked to and towards the end of the session Ari started with the strider breathing (she breaths like the when she is upset) so the speech therapist got two buttons, one that said all done and one that said more and showed Ari which button said what and told her if she was done playing the computer to push the all done button and if she wanted to keep playing to push the more button . Ari pushed the all done button before the therapist could finish asking her if she was done. The all done button was on her right side and Ari doesn’t use that had that much. It is so good to see her doing little things like that again.

This past Sunday we were at Bernie’s sister’s house and Bernie asked Ari if she wanted to go swimming with all the other kids and she started babbling and started looking at him, so we took that as a yes and he got in the pool with her. She as been getting into this pattern of keeping her legs and her left arm straight as a board and when she got into the pool the pattern broke and she seemed so relaxed. She didn’t even try to stare at the sun like she always does. We weren’t sure if she was allowed go swimming with her mickey button, so I tried to tape a piece of plastic over it, which didn’t work. It just held all the water inside the plastic, so I guess I’ll have to call her GI doctor and find out if it is ok. I know when she had the peg tube the nursed at the hospital told us she couldn’t even take a bath but I think she can with a mickey button.

I put some pictures of Ari in the pool. Thank you all for continuing to check up on how Ari is progressing and for all your continued prayers.
