Today I had to go back to Sebring to get some things and my mom stayed here with Arianna for me. It was hard to leave her here but I got to visit with Bernie and the kids for a little while which was great. It has been hard here without them but I know it is what we have to do right now. My mom took Arianna for her first walk outside since she has been her today.She said she like it as long as she kept moving. Arianna did really good with her therapy today. I took some pics before I left this morning and Bernie posted them for me . They had Ari on her stomach on a ball and rocked it and then had her standing on her feet. She did not like that and she started making noises like she was trying to cry. She hasn't made any kind of vocal noises up to this point so we are very excited . We finally got the boot for Arianna's foot. I have to put it on one foot for four hours and then switch to the other foot for four hours. She does not like it at all. I had to ask the nurse if I could take it off until she fell asleep because she wouldn't go to sleep and as soon as i took it off she was sleeping in minutes.They gave up on the splints for her hands, they couldn't make them small enough for her hands to stay in them. They gave me some rolled up washcloths and beanie babies to put in her hands. Dr. Riggs said today he doesn't mind keeping Arianna here for a little while longer until brooks get room. He is just worried about using up too many of Arianna's hospital days with our insurance.
