wow, 1 and 1/2 months since last update. We've had some calls from folks wanting to know whats going on, but I hadn't realized it had been so long. How is Arianna? Well... she is doing well. We are continuing the IMT in jax. She goes every week with a few exceptions. We have also resumed the hyperbaric chamber with Dr Murry. It is a releif to have him back involved in her treatment as he has much experience in brain injury and the associated disorders. And she continues to see Dr John (the chinese guy). We are also continuing to do the Ki method with Jim Richardson here in town. We also started a process to eliminate some of her allergies, or just things that her body is weak to, involving muscle testing and lasers. Its called the Naet therapy I believe. Over the course of the last 6 weeks or so we've learned a bit. Arianna had her 2 year vaccines. Shortly after she started to run a fever and was just miserable. The pediatrician was afraid that she had pneumonia, but after the tests came back negative, she put her on some strong antibiotics "just in case." That began a very stressful time for Arianna. She had severe diarrhea for almost a week, after which she became constipated. At this point she was almost the same as she was in Tampa after the accident. Her gut automatically shut down her brain again, and IMT had to hurry and get it straight. They were able to do so pretty quickly, and I know for sure that the Ki method that Mr Richardson does helped also. That was a rough couple weeks, and she is actually still recovering. We have continued to adjust her diet. We have determined that she doesn't get enough of the fats and generally put... nutrition... from regular milks like cows milk, rice milk, or soy milk. After some muscle testing of our own, Sarah and I were able to deduce that she could handle fresh goats milk. The unpasteurized type seems to be the trick. We actually noticed a difference even between store bought pasteurized and raw goats milk. So we are working on locating a source of raw goats milk so she can stay on it continuously. How is she? She is holding her head up better. She is so... very so... umm. aware. She is vocalizing sounds quite often. We don't know the meaning of them, but we know that she does. She smiles quite often, and I've even succeeded in getting a reaction on a tickle. Thats a dads perogative you know. She looks around all the time, turning her head to see who's talking to her or just what is going on. She is doing very well and continues to get better every day. We believe that Father has pointed us in the direction she is going, and continues to organize her healing every day. Isn't it funny how Father uses the world to do his bidding... even without them acknowledging his control? How are we doing? Well, we are doing our best. This season coming is hard. Halloween was hard. We took Ari out with the kids.. Check out the pics. She had a good time, and vocalized almost all night. We hope and pray that it helped to trigger some more memories. But we don't look forward to this holiday season at all. It's sad for our other kids, but the truth. Our memories of Ari last year are always right there to pester us and remind us of how it was. We looked forward to Ari's christmas this year, and how she would just tear into those presents like the other kids did at that age. But we are seeing progress, and we will stand solid on the promise that God will heal her. We will wait on Him, and we continue to see healing and progress everyday. "Those who wait on the Lord..." thats us.... Ari is coming back... she is doing so well. Thank you for all your prayers and love. Father God has given us such a good family an friends to hold us up in these times, and we know it. Each and every connection we have right now, every one, has been a comfort and a blessing. We love you all. There will never be enough thank you's!!!
