Just wanted to run a brief update for you. Happy Thanks-giving to all. Not a lot of new things with Ari. Her development is very slow of course, but we continue to see more and more awareness in her. She is physically doing well, and Sarah is working with her everyday while I'm at work. The therapists in Lake Placid were able to get us a standing frame chair, and Sarah has been putting her in it a lot. Ari vocalizes more when she is in it, and continues to gain some head control and neck control. She is doing exceptionally well on her diet, which now includes raw goats milk instead of rice milk or soy milk. GI issues seem to be under control, as well as reflux and stomach upset. She hasn't been to IMT or Jax in several weeks due to some financial issues, but Sarah does all the stuff they gave her to do for her IMT therapy. Ari continues to see Jim Richardson each week for the Ki method, and Sarah has some of that that she does each day as well. So Ari is steadily progressing. It's hard to judge her progress as we see her each day, much like the view from a jet airplane would have a hard time judging the speed of a snail down below, only knowing the snail is moving. But we know its happening. Thanksgiving was nice. We had a quiet day at home, a late dinner with some friends stopping by, and some wholesome high cholesterol. We are looking at the possiblity of buying a house where we would have more room for Ari's therapy and equip, and have already found the home and applied for the loan. If we can get everything together, it's possible we might end this year on a high note. We'll update on that if it happens of course. Our prayers over Thanksgiving have focused not only on the gratitude we have for all our friends and family and all the support Ari and us have had over the rough year of 2007, but the continued grace and healing that Father is doing in 2008. We continue to believe in Ari's full recovery, even as each day adds to the one before it. We thank you for the same prayers, and the financial, emotional, and spiritual support all of you have provided to us. We love you all...
