Not a whole lot to update on. Ari and I got back home Friday night. We didn't get much acomplished last week at shriners. She didn't have alot of PT or speech. Her speech therapist had to go out of town due to a death in the family, so she only got speech twice. Her ST recommended that I take Ari to a OT in Lakeland that works with sensory modulation through music. I don't know much about it, but it is suppose to help with strong startle reflexes like Ari has.So i'm gonna call today and see if they can see Ari for atleast OT, But i figured if I was gonna drive there I might as well try for PT and ST too. OT was the only therapy Ari got everyday last week. They made some recommedations of things I should try with her to try and get her upper body muscles working again. They put Ari on a scooter board and pulled her around the hallways. Ari seemed to really like that, she smiled a couple of times so that is going on my list of things to buy for her. They also gave me the address of a thrift store that sell used therapy equiptment which will be very helpful as the list start to get longer. In Pt they continued to try different standers and they have two more they want to try before they order her one. Their venders didn't know where they were so when they find them and get to Shriners we will have to go back for a day to try her in them. I forgot my camera last Monday when we headed back, but I bought a disposalble one and will get new pics on when I get a chance to get it to CVS for them to put the pics on a CD for me.
