Bugs are for birds

Hi all!!

Well, Arianna got to go back to CenterIMT in Jacksonville this weekend. It has been so long since we've seen them and since they had seen Ari. I'm not sure they were really able to see how much progress Ari has made since her last visit due to the complications that led us there. But it was so nice to see instant progress.

Since school started, we've had a bug running around the family. Pesky little cold, not a hard hitter, just enough to make ya wish he would go away. Due to funds (don't get me started on finances) our Chaga supply has been limited to the one bottle a month that we get auto-shipped. So we generally only give it to Ari and the rest of us take it when we feel we need it. It certainly does keep us healthy (when we take it), but in the middle of everything that Sarah has to do, she forgot to put it in Ari's formula for a few days. Introduce the "Bug".

So Ari got the bug, and it made her all congested and just yucky, although not severe. Sarah took her to the pediatrician to get checked after one of the guys that works for me came down with strep (strepp?). That was negative, but she was given a prescription for antibiotics just-in-case. Read our past posts and you'll see where this is leading.

Antibiotics lead to Ari's body not being happy leading to Ari's gut shutting things down leading to ... well... backward movement. She was straining, crying, fussing, coughing, and actually saying "Oww". Yes, her first constantly spoken word thanks to our friend "bug".

But, seriously... she is better on this Monday than she was Friday. Laurie and Linda worked on her for quite some time, were able to determine by testing that in fact her body did not like the antibiotics, that she was having reactions to the actual virus, some fungi, and other stuff. They were able to set it all straight, as they have done before.

BTW... the Chaga does in fact work when taken regularly. I can prove it by stating that I haven't been taking it regularly (well that make sense Bernie!). So when the bug came for me the first day, I overdosed on my Chaga. Lots of Chaga! Next day, bug almost gone. Next day, gone. Unfortunately for the rest of my wonderful children and my wife, what was left of the Chaga had to be saved for Ari.

BTW... people are so tired of doctors. Prescribe for this symptom and that sympton, because its what they can see. They mean well, and we certainly couldn't do without them (they were the agents who gave us Ari back). But really, check out the link to CenterIMT. They are awesome people who are able to diagnose as closely as possible and "attempt" to correct the actual problem.. this is my personal statement... instead of the symptom of the problem. It's not instant, and it's not what Americans are used to, but it works. They could teach you a lot about your diet, prescription drugs, and your overall health.

Ari is going back to CenterIMT in October for a few days. Sarah is also putting together a carwash, and my mother-n-law has also contributed toward bracelets to sell for Arianna. She is also gonna do that soft chamber HBOT in St Pete at some point starting next month (I believe thats what she said). But I think one of the ultimate goals is to get her into that suit therapy program.

So anyway, thanks for checking in on Ari and us. Several folks have commented "Bernie, you don't do updates anymore." Now they can't say that for a little while.

Love to all!!
