Quick update this Father's day morning. The last couple days have been ok. We have been getting comfortable as we can in our routines. I guess we never realized how much the nurses actually did, especially while we were getting some sleep at night. With the exception of yesterday, Arianna has been doing good. Yesterday was a hard day for her. She cried and screamed all day in pain. We don't know if it is constipation or just her thinking she is constipated. Dr Camillo prescribed her an additional medication to help with this called Enulose, but we are thinking that it may be causing her a lot of stomach cramps, so we are going to discontinue it today and see if she does better. After some talk and strategic planning, haha, we are going back up to Jacksonville Tuesday. Strategic is funny, since everything so far has been day by day, or one long day... but anyway. Arianna has her first Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Treatment at 2 pm Tuesday with Dr Murray. We are nervous of course, but very hopeful. Our challenge is the same as always, but even more so now since we have all been home a few days and it will be hard to leave again. The children are going with us, and we will all be staying somewhere while we administer her meds, feeds and therapies whereever we are staying. Sarah and I are laughing as I type this, thinking how impossibly challenging this will be. We may try to make it to church this morning with Ari, but if she is like she was yesterday that is not going to happen. She is sleeping at the moment, praise God, but she will wake up soon and we will know what today will be like. So the big news today, we have decided to go with the HBOT with Dr Murray in Jax starting Tuesday. Love to all
