Posted a few photos. My sister told me I need to put more photo's on here, so we will start doing so. Put a photo of all the ingredrients used to make Ari's formula. Also some random pic's of the kids and Ari. Will take some of the new home once we get a little more organized and cleaned up (the neighbors probably think we're Amish because we haven't even gotten curtains on all the windows yet). Sarah talked to Shriners yesterday. They set a check-in date of February 11th. We are so excited to get her into an in-patient with them. All we hear from everyone is how good they are. The first couple days will be evaluation, then they will set their goals for her. Not sure if she will be there one week or two. Of course their main focus will be daily full schedule of therapy like what Ari was getting at Brooks. If the therapists at Shriners are as awesome as they were at Brooks, then I expect great results. February 11th will be 10 months to the day of Ari's accident. It's hard to believe. There have been so many ups and downs, and we have learned so much. From that heartbreaking day of the accident when we prayed so very hard, and then the expectation that maybe she would just wake up one day and start playing, to the reality that this is a long road of healing that she is on and we have to adjust our lives to settle in for the long haul. I am praying and believing that it will be no accident that Ari is heading to Shriner's on that date, and perhaps they will be able to force her progress off the plateau she has been on lately. When April 11, 2008 arrives, we will be so full of hope for the beginning of her second year of recovery. Recipes are starting to come in pretty steady now. I think we dropped the date on getting the book together, and instead are just waiting until we have enough. So thanks for your help, keep them coming!! Love to all!
